Michael Crichton Dead At 66


'Jurassic Park' Author, 'ER' Creator Michael Crichton Dead At 66 After Private Cancer Battle: "Author Michael Crichton, the creative force behind the 'Jurassic Park' series and the TV show 'ER', has died. He was 66.

Entertainment Tonight reported on the writer's death on its Web site, ETonline.com. Citing family sources, ET reports he was waging a private battle against cancer. A literary agent for Crichton confirmed the author has died in Los Angeles.

Crichton is best known for being the author of science-fiction novels such as 'Jurassic Park' and its sequel 'The Lost World,' which have sold more than 150 million copies worldwide."

Michael Crichton's death makes me so sad. I have had the best adventures with him through all of his books....and spent the time in between anticipating his whatever new book was in the works. RIP.
