I read the article and found it fascinating. In my husband's family there was a mysetrious disappeanace that became a semi-celebrated case. A great-aunt stepped out of her front door one day to post a letter in a pillar box on the same street(this was in England). She didn't take a handbag or anything with her. She was never seen again.
