BA isn't even an option in my mind.
B!!!! 'Specially in the dark!
A - Unless your Satin.
A of course!
BIf someone has installed as A, you must immediately fix it before you even use it!
B even in Austria :-)
B B B B B B B B B ad infinitum!
B. Yea, it's B.
A is the preferred method if there are Cats in the house.
B for certain! Paper comes off easy when you make it A and makes a mess of the paper!
B all the way! Would be interesting to know gender and nationality, cos I always thought it was only French people who did A. I'm male and british btw!
B, off course!
B. And only B.
B!! ALWAYS B!
B, definitely B.
@RWRidley - Satin? Are you sure you meant that? ;)B people. And if I come into your house and it's wrong. I will change it...and leave a note. I'm not kidding.
B ofcourse... No doubt.
AB is awkward. I wanna be pulling the toilet roll towards me not down.Logical Mind. :)
B! I can't stand when people do A
B - only B!!!
Definitely B it just looks more elegant
B and there is no debate.
Let it BE BE, let it BE BE
it's so obviously "B." how can you see it or grab it from "A?"
None other than---B, of course.
B.No doubt about it.
B it sooo has to be BBBBBBBB
B for SURE!
No argument, rolls are in a basket at home :-)
A? Are you ppl crazy? It's so obviously B! You can't reach A easily, it looks sloppy, and it's just wrong.
B is the One True Answer.
It's so A.
B?? WTH is wrong with you people?!?!?Its definitely A!
A is the correct and only way. Didn't your mama teach you anything?
BBBBBB all the waaaay B! :D
B IS THE RIGHT WAY. DONE.
Definitely "B". But the REAL debate is: Single or Double roll?
B, but A if there is a cat that likes to unroll things...
but the real question is dose it really matter as long as it get the job done??
Has to be B or how would you do the little triangle thing they do in hotels? If it is B in the Hilton and B in the Ritz then it must be B!.... Anyone know how they do it in Buckinham Palace, they should know the etiquette :-D
AIf I find a B, I turn it round into an A
It's ALWAYS B. The same applies to paper towels too. They're printed on 1 side for a reason.
What does it say in DeBretts. Surely that will prove all us B voters correct.
B.A is not an option.(Female, California)
B, of course!
BDrives me nuts if someone in the house puts it on the wrong way...I switch it! LOL
B. Why? Because I used to have A and my Grandfather came out and explained to me why it should be B. Grandpa knows best! Plus I think about it everytime I sit down! haha
B - there's a song which says so...http://is.gd/jACH
BBAnd ONLY B
re Kay.Tea - what do u think u'd be doing if u pulled on A? U'd be pulling down. A is plain awkward with the wall potentially getting the way. Obviously B.
B of course, the other way bugs!. Please I have issues!!!. B only B.kidding aside B!!!!
B......it's just looks correct doesn't it?
B, then the kids can pull the rest off more easily
B all the way! Anyone who does A should have all their toilet paper removed until they turn to the one true path. :D I always change an A to a B whenever I see a mis-mounted roll! It has to be my major domestic peeve (sad to say)!
B. B. B. B. B. Oh yeah ... & B.
B because my two cats can make more confetti :DB - it's more logical than A
A in the northern hemisphere. B in the southern hemisphere. To match the flow of the toilet water when flushed. Simple, no?
I only see one option: B
B- It gets hidden and is hard to unroll a new one if it's A.
I can see benefits in bothB. Easier to grabA. Easier to control the one handed rip
Hotels do B and even fold the edges up under to make it easier to unroll. Therefore, B.
If it's "A", someone could have left you a nasty 'present' on the hidden side and you wouldn't know until you touched it.Definitely B.(then again, I'm a single guy who just sets the full roll on the back of the throne or towel rack. [shrug])
B is the way to go.
B - That way you can fold the corners under to make it look nice for the next person.
B....only B. never, ever A.
A. For a*se...Female. From UK.
B for the ease of use.
lolz. it's so B.
B all the way and in my house it keeps mysteriously turning round! Grrr!!
B ! And if I'm @ you're house I'll make sure its corrected too, would you?
B for sure.
In a private home it's A. Toilet paper is totally submissive to serve humans in any way a human wishes. A is the submissive position whispering "Take me and do what you will with me."In public places including hotels where they do that little pointy foldy thing, it's B, because it's crass, obnoxious and shouts out "HEY! OVER HERE, Jerk! If I was a snake, I'da bit cha!"
B. Always B!
BBBBBBBBbut my husband would say A, given her rarely changes it, being a boy thing I usually win...
Absolutely A. I will switch it if I'm in someone elses home or office if I see it on the other way. What's wrong with these people???
B!! You can't really pull it good from A if it's a brand new roll...I left on A once by mistake and the husband freaked out.
B! Always and Forever!
Always and forever "B" because who wants to touch the wall or have their toilet paper dragged across it before using it? (Spoken from a true germ-a-phobe!) All I really care about is: people please wash your hands after using the toilet paper! I'm out there and I notice those of you who don't! LOL.
A - B What's it matter. It all ends up in the same place anyway. LOL
Definitely A. It's easier to tear it one-handed. I change Bs to As all the time.
B, for sure, In fact, if I go to your house, and it is not set to B, I will change it for you....LOL, Ok kidding, I really could care less...be peaceful people, its only toilet paper.
I say A, my bf lost his left hand and its easier for him to remove it from the roll
It's def B, I think
B - that's the way they're loaded in hotels and hospitals. The people who say A probably also wipe back to front.
A is definitely better in a feline household. I know from experience. I still miss that lost, double-roll softie...However, for me, A or B... doesn't matter. As long as I don't have to crabwalk, pants down around my ankles, to dig a used tissue out of my purse, I'm OK, either way.
b....how could it be anything but b.
B, a gets on my nerves
B and only B. There is no other option!!!
In the mind of the "germaphobe", it has to be B. A would expose the paper...yourself to any germs that could migrate away from the wall...which is prone to collect airborne bacteria and other cooties.B and there is no alternative in the mind of a germaphobe.
B and forever it will be B!
B! Unless you have small kids that like to unroll the paper.. Then maybe A.
B! Does left / right handed come into the equation at all? I'm right handed...
There is no debate. A. Only A. Always A. If B then you have to pull up, tilt your behind off the seat, then reposition the paper. A affords easy tear, no up-pull issues and either left or right pull works... A.
B every time!
A is Daft! Reasons:1) You cant find the end when its closest to the wall. (falls behind unseen)2) You end up rubbing dirty hands/fingers on the wall! (should be presented clearly away from obstacles)3) You cant neatly fold it to a point! (what will your friend think?)B is the Winner EVERY TIME!
Depends. If the roll is unencumbered in any way (generally in a private home), then B.If, however, the roll is in some sort of plastic/metal distributor/holder OR has another roll sitting on top of it, then A, because that allows the roll to actually lift and roll more easily, thus enabling one to pull a reasonable amount from it, rather than having it rip off in little pieces bit by frigging bit as one attempts to acquire it. I despise places which install it in the B position and then place other rolls on top of it. DESPISE.
B - no question
The fact of the matter is, you can wipe your a$$ with it regardless. You people should quit worrying about this debate and consider that baby wipes are the 21st century choice of the truly discerning.
Usually B, but when your kid learns how to unroll it that way, then you switch to A. They can't unroll it as easily!
B of course - do people still do A?
If you use a-style tp, the terrorists win.
B. There is no other option!!!
A because i want to be non conformist
C or b c being on its side
C. Everyone knows it's always C.
People that choose "A" is seriously disturbed and should report to the nearest mental institution ASAP! LOL everyone knows "B" is the only true way to hang your white gold -duh!!
B, of course.A is just awkward to reach for and to look at.
B, easier to tear apart
Tally them up. BBBBB.............A is just backwards and weird. I don't understand how you could even chose A?
for about 20 years, B
i do neither. i actually put the roll on top of the thing because it is easier to wrap around your fingers than because i like wiping my ass with a nice square piece of paper.
...and the Bs have it
if you like a its because you like to rip off the paper and its easier to get caught and rip off. if you like pulling them off then you like b thats what i think
A if you have young ids or a puppy or young cat who would love to reach a hand up to unravel the whole roll. B for every other situation just because its easier.
What do you use toilet paper for?Taking a dump. And what's that sometimes called?Going number 2.And what's the second letter of the alphabet?...B!!!
A is the proper way. If you recall an early episode of Who's the Boss, it will be confirmed that B is the improper over-hand method. Any show with Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano can't be wrong.
I once was an A as a child because I thought it was more Aesthetically pleasing that the hang-down was close to the wall. Now I am 30+ years older I find it's just easier to grab the B hang-down.So B.Jason, UK
B! what is natural about the upward spinning motion that B doesnt sustain?
B you can do with your eyes closed. A takes a while scratching and searching for the loose end even with your eyes open.
***A*** MOST DEFINTELY !!!
B is better! B B is Better!!!
haha what a great debate!oh and B
I hate to say it, but check your etiquette books folks. The proper way is actually A because it prevents excess paper from spinning off when you go to tear the sheets. Most importantly though WHO CARES?!?!?!?!!??!
Ha what is this toilet paper for anyway?
C (uninstalled - roll is left on back of toilet, sink, counter, etc...)
B, or just not on the roller
BIf it's A, I get annoyed. The paper hangs too close to the wall, it's just not convenient to grab.
B, because it is easier to find the end in the dark. Personally I never have problems with the one handed rip with B. It's all in the wrist.
BBut I just leave it on the hand rail, cause it's easier.
this picture looks shopped. you can tell by the pixels.
Real men use pine cones and bears!
B and only B. Now way of A.
B and only B. No way of A.
Who actually finds the one-hand rip easier with A? It's so much easier with B, you end up pulling the roll down either way with improper technique, but with B you have more room to pull it directly sideways. With A it is more awkward, especially if the roll is not on the side you are oriented toward (i.e. right-handed vs. left-handed)
A, A, a million times A.It's easier to pull it towards you. Whenever it's B I end up yanking at it uselessly and half the roll comes undone.
Before AOL existed in the years of Compuserve, I read a book that mentioned this. In 1870's - 1900's (can't remember the exact date) when toilet paper was first sold in U.S. General stores, this was a common debate then. So TP companies started including instructions on the paper wrapping showing diagram B. So I am afraid that B is the Correct answer according to the manufacturer!
A, because in B you usually end up unrolling way more TP than you need, plus because with B my cat always pulls off the whole roll because it's easy.
b of course. how can a be better?
totally photoshopped... and B. :)
C... I don't care.
B.A is unhygienic, your dirty fingers will keep brushing against the wall. Ew.
uhhh....I wanna change my opinion, I hadn't tried A before, so now it's A.
B - What sort of retard would choose A
